Noah Hill leads a balanced attack to beat Gainesville

Recap: Covenant Christian Cougars vs. Gainesville Leopards
The Covenant Christian Cougars came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 77-61 win over Gainesville. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Covenant Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Hill, who scored 26 points along with six rebounds. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for Hill. Another player making a difference was Aaron Turner, who scored 14 points along with nine assists and eight rebounds.
Covenant Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Gainesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-1.
Covenant Christian will be playing at home against Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shelton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 720th, while Covenant Christian is ranked 133rd). Gainesville is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Mineral Wells at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
