Baseball Recap: Campbell Extends Winning Streak to Four

Campbell entered their tilt with Hopkinton on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Hawks. Seven seems to be a good number for Campbell as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Campbell got a massive performance out of Noah Reed, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI were Reed's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Delia, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Campbell's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hopkinton, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Campbell will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Belmont at 4:00 p.m. As for Hopkinton, they will head out on the road to challenge Hillsboro-Deering at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks are facing the Hillcats at the right time seeing as the Hillcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
