Even though Guyer scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Little Elm still came out on top. Little Elm took their game against Guyer 67-56. 67 seems to be a good number for Little Elm as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Little Elm to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amina Diallo, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for her. Raniyah Hunt was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with three steals.
Prosper has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Boyd, posting a 71-42 win on the road. Winning may never get old, but Prosper sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Little Elm is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Prosper, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
Everything came up roses for Little Elm against Prosper in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 68-40 victory. Will Little Elm repeat their success, or does Prosper have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
