Softball Recap: Hazlehurst Comes Up Short

Hazlehurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Seminary Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Thursday.

Hazlehurst's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Seminary, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hazlehurst will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jim Hill at 6:00 p.m. on March 17th. As for Seminary, they will take on Raleigh at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Seminary's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
