There's no place like home for Von Steuben, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Schurz Bulldogs 2-1. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Von Steuben got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 10-25, 25-8.

Von Steuben's record is now 12-9-1. As for Schurz, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
