Volleyball Recap: Terrell Takes a Loss

Terrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Jaguars from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 24-26, 25-20, 25-8.

Among those leading the charge was Devyn Dennis, who had six digs and four aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Terrell's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Midlothian Heritage, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-20.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Terrell will face off against rival Corsicana at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Midlothian Heritage is set to square off against their familiar foe Red Oak at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
