Basketball Recap: Fowler Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fowler can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Plateau Valley Cowboys and fell 58-22. The match marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaiah Montoya, who posted seven points and five rebounds.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Plateau Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colter Ralston, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 15 points and four steals. Ralston is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Jack Vig was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to 12 boards and five blocks.

Fowler's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Plateau Valley, the win was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

Fowler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plateau Valley, they have already played their next contest, a 51-49 victory against Byers on the 13th.
