Basketball Recap: Benjamin Davis Comes Up Short

Benjamin Davis saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were beaten by the Randle Lions 53-25. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Randle to victory were Alaysia Cook and Kurynn McNeill. Cook almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards, while McNeill posted 16 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The match was Cook's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Madisyn Thompson, who put up two points and five steals.

Benjamin Davis' loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Randle, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.

Benjamin Davis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-15 win against Aldine on the 3rd. As for Randle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-39 victory against Magnolia on the 28th.
