Soccer Recap: Tupelo Christian Prep Comes Up Short

Tupelo Christian Prep lost against Lafayette back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles came up short against the Lafayette Commodores, falling 6-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Tupelo Christian Prep's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Lafayette, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Tupelo Christian Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lafayette, they will head out to take on Corinth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
