Baseball Recap: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. Poway Titans
Sage Creek was the 1-0 winner over Poway when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sage Creek Bobcats fell just short of the Poway Titans by a score of 3-2 on Monday.
Elijah Stephens put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Stephens was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.

Sage Creek's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Poway, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.
While Sage Creek had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
