Whitehouse is a perfect 5-0 against Mt. Pleasant since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

It was a proper cat-fight when Whitehouse duked it out with Texas on Tuesday. The Wildcats never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their two-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant got the win against Marshall last Tuesday by a conclusive 11-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Whitehouse is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Mt. Pleasant, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Whitehouse came out on top in a nail-biter against Mt. Pleasant when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
