Football Recap: American Heritage Skates Past Somerset Prep with Ease + How To Watch

American Heritage never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past Somerset Prep 54-0. The Stallions pushed the score to 51-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Somerset Prep had no chance of recovering from.

American Heritage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zachary Schwartz led the charge by rushing for 48 yards and a pair of scores. Another signal caller making a difference was Marcus Stracke, who threw for 121 yards and two TDs.

American Heritage didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jonah Kasten, Elias Drucker, and Nathan Desir picked up one apiece. Drucker got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

American Heritage has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Heritage will challenge Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Somerset Prep, they will face off against Somerset Academy Key at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th. This will be Somerset Prep's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
