Highland's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Higley Knights by a score of 11-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Highland pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Higley, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Highland will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
