Friday just wasn't the day for Moravian Academy's offense. They lost 12-0 to Northern Lehigh on Friday.

Meanwhile, Jim Thorpe was able to grind out a solid victory over Catasauqua on Monday, taking the game 4-1.

The team relied heavily on Brody Schrantz, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has become a key player for Jim Thorpe: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Antignani, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Jim Thorpe's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Moravian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
