Soccer Game Preview: Zapata vs. Hidalgo

Zapata hasn't had much luck against Hidalgo recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Zapata Hawks will be playing at home against the Hidalgo Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Zapata is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game last Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vanguard Academy Rembrandt. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Hawks couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Hidalgo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Valley View.

Hidalgo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Zapata, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
