Volleyball Recap: Westlake Takes a Loss

Westlake lost against Corner Canyon back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunder lost 3-0 to the Chargers.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-9.

Rilynne Hollist paced Westlake's offense, picking up four kills. Hollist were helped by Eva Langi and Leiema Fano, who contributed two assists each.

Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Corner Canyon, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Westlake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Canyon View on the 22nd. As for Corner Canyon, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Herriman on the 21st.
