Westview will be up against a hot Deer Valley squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Deer Valley put the hurt on Agua Fria with a sharp 71-45 win on Tuesday. Given the Skyhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Owls are ranked 240th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Westview unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Peoria by a score of 63-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Knights have suffered since December 12, 2024.

Deer Valley pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Westview, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
