Volleyball Recap: Pebble Hills Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Pebble Hills kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Ysleta Indians, falling 3-0. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Ysleta scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.

Pebble Hills has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Melissa on the 15th. As for Ysleta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Immanuel Christian on the 14th.
