Football Game Preview: Henderson Lions vs. Lindale Eagles

Henderson is 0-5 against Lindale since October of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Lions will host the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Henderson has given up an average of 31.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Henderson lost 56-35 to Chapel Hill on Friday.

Although Henderson took the loss, they still got scores from Mike Russell, Brailon Walker, and Lemarion Coleman.

Meanwhile, Lindale beat Pine Tree 17-10 on Friday. The 17-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Lindale and bumps their season record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 10 points in those games. As for Henderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
