Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Keenan

Keenan waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Eau Claire Shamrocks 54-35. The Raiders pushed the score to 47-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Shamrocks cut but never quite recovered from.

Keenan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aareonna Cuaghman, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. Cuaghman continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Taelor Lee-Sutton, who posted 13 points and four steals.

Keenan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Eau Claire still got an impressive performance from Destinee Tiller, who put up 20 points and three blocks. That was a full 57.1% of Eau Claire's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Keenan's record now sits at 11-6. As for Eau Claire, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Keenan has already played their next contest (against Newberry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eau Claire has already played their next game, a 52-23 victory against Columbia on the 24th.
