Carman-Ainsworth had lost five straight, but after bumping their record up to 2-5 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They secured a 73-67 W over the Powers Catholic Chargers. The Cavaliers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Powers Catholic fell to 3-1. The loss was their first of the season.

Despite the loss, Powers Catholic still got an impressive performance from Eli Sturgess, who shot 53% from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and four steals. The matchup was Sturgess' fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Andrew Caldwell was another key player, going 8-for-18 to rack up 19 points.
