Southern came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the St. Joseph Central Flyers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Flyers, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Southern was: they took every set by at least 20 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-4, 25-4.

Southern got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Taylor Roberts out in front who had five aces. Katie Caldwell also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
