Basketball Recap: Greenhills Takes a Loss

Greenhills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes, falling 59-33. While losing is never fun, the Gryphons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 556th, while the Cranes are ranked 210th).

Greenhills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Greenhills will challenge Loyola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gabriel Richard at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cranbrook Kingswood is facing Gabriel Richard at the right time seeing as Gabriel Richard is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
