Volleyball Recap: Rockwall Takes a Loss

Rockwall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Highland Park Scots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Friday.

Zailey High paced Rockwall's offense, picking up six kills. High got some help from Ainsley Edgington and her 14 assists.

Rockwall's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Highland Park, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Rockwall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against V.R. Eaton on the 22nd. As for Highland Park, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Southlake Carroll on the 22nd.
