The Garrett Railroaders will take on the East Noble Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Garrett is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
Garrett is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran.

Ashlee Vanderbosch made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Jayiden Feicht was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Aliviah Mowery, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Garrett hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, East Noble owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over DeKalb. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on three straight.
Not much got past Abby Alwine, who gave up just a hit to keep DeKalb off the board.
At the plate, East Noble's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Paige Griggs, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
Garrett's record is now 21-8. As for East Noble, their record now sits at 18-7-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Garrett has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. However, it's not like East Noble struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Garrett came out on top in a nail-biter against East Noble when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 6-5. Do the Railroaders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
