With a playoff win on the line, Crosstown rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Middle College Bulldogs. The victory was familiar territory for the Explorers, who have now won 12 matches in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Stella Cook, who had 20 assists and three aces. Cook is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Cook wasn't the only good servers: Crosstown was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 18 aces in seven consecutive contests.

Crosstown's win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Middle College, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 17-3 record.

Looking ahead, Crosstown will take on Manassas at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Middle College does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
