Baseball Recap: Hamilton County Comes Up Short

Hamilton County lost against Clinch County back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans lost 9-1 to the Panthers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hamilton County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Luckette, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Hamilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Clinch County, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hamilton County will square off against Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clinch County, they will take on Lanier County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
