Preview: Frenship vs. Permian
The Frenship Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Permian Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Frenship will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
In what's become a running theme this season, Frenship gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They never let Midland onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Five seems to be a good number for Frenship as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They hit Midland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Zeta McDannels (2),
Allie Hinojosa (2), and
Mia Chambliss.
Meanwhile, Permian was able to grind out a solid win over Midland Legacy on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back wins for Permian.
Frenship is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-0-4 record this season. As for Permian, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-1.
Frenship was able to grind out a solid win over Permian in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, winning 2-0. Does Frenship have another victory up their sleeve, or will Permian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
