Volleyball Recap: Lubbock Takes a Loss

Lubbock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Red Oak Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Westerners of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Lubbock's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Red Oak, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Lubbock has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Temple on the 14th. As for Red Oak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Denton on the 14th.
