Baseball Recap: Saint Ignatius College Prep Takes a Loss

Saint Ignatius College Prep lost against St. Laurence last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolfpack took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saint Ignatius College Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alec Gunderson, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Saint Ignatius College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for St. Laurence, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Ignatius College Prep will host Huntley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Laurence, they will welcome Chicago Hope Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
