Fairmont waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Springfield Wildcats by a score of 67-57. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-53 last Tuesday.

The win got Fairmont back to even at 11-11. As for Springfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Fairmont will take on Wayne at 7:30 p.m. on February 27th. As for Springfield, they will square off against Centerville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centerville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Springfield likes a good challenge.
