On Thursday, Riverside faced James F. Byrnes in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Riverside Warriors took an 85-81 hit to the loss column at the hands of the James F. Byrnes Rebels. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
