Volleyball Recap: Idaho Falls Tigers vs. Hillcrest Knights
Idaho Falls lost to Hillcrest back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Idaho Falls Tigers had just enough and edged the Hillcrest Knights out 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Idaho Falls wouldn't go down easily and took Hillcrest into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 14-25, 15-10.
Grace Fuger had an outrageously good game as she had 30 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Addison Bowen, who had 13 digs.
Idaho Falls kept the net locked down and finished the game with 12 blocks. They are 2-1 when they block at leastten attacks.
Idaho Falls pushed their record up to 20-12-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hillcrest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-20.
