The Thomas Jefferson Gryphons can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Burns 73-39 at home. Thomas Jefferson's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Thomas Jefferson found their leader in underclassman Samara Jones, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Brooklyn Twitty was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Thomas Jefferson, bringing their record for this year to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Burns, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas Jefferson will take on Shelby at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burns, they will be playing at home against East Gaston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Gaston is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
