Baseball Recap: Saddleback Falls Short of Coastal Christian in the Playoffs

Saddleback and Coastal Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Saddleback had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Conquerors by a score of 4-3.

Saddleback saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Wright, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Saddleback's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11-1. As for Coastal Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Saddleback does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coastal Christian, they will face off against Loma Linda Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Roadrunners will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Conquerors surely won't give up without a fight.
