Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Beaver). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Summit Academy Knights a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Golden Beavers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won five in a row.

Western Beaver's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Summit Academy, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
