Baseball Recap: Logan Grizzlies vs. Grantsville Cowboys
Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grantsville Cowboys.
Josh Jensen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Reed Olsen, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Logan's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Grantsville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.
Looking ahead, Logan is taking a road trip to square off against Green Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grantsville, they will take on Morgan at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cowboys' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
