Football Recap: Bonita Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bonita and Diamond Ranch pushed the score to 56-14 the last time they played Diamond Ranch, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Bearcats and the Panthers were almost perfectly matched up, but the Bearcats suffered a 1-0 loss. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bearcats came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Panthers are ranked 461st).

Although Bonita took the loss, they still got scores from Jacob Maddox, Sebastian Vasquez, and Adam Hodgson.

Bonita's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Diamond Ranch, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Bonita has already played their next contest, a 35-13 loss against Aquinas on the 5th. As for Diamond Ranch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 48-46 defeat against Covina on the 5th.
