Baseball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall fell victim to Williamston and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Redhawks seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Williamston, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hornets beat Marshall by a score of 11-4 later that day.
