Soccer Recap: South Whidbey Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when South Whidbey challenged Overlake on Wednesday. The South Whidbey Falcons lost 11-0 to the Overlake Owls. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Owls: they've now lost five in a row.

South Whidbey now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Overlake, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Looking ahead, South Whidbey will venture away from home to take on Sultan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be South Whidbey's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Overlake, they will host King's at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
