Baseball Recap: Falcon's Winning Streak Snapped at 17 Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Falcon can now relate to. They came up short against the Golden Demons on Friday, falling 13-6. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Falcons, who until this matchup were averaging 3.2 runs allowed.

Jaxon Schleper made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Broden Cox was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

The loss snapped Falcon's winning streak at 17 games and leaves them with a 20-4-1 record. As for Golden, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

Falcon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Golden, they will face off against Windsor at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wizards will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Demons surely won't give up without a fight.
