Basketball Recap: Harmony School of Innovation Wolves vs. Tornillo Coyotes
Harmony School of Innovation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 39-30 to the Tornillo Coyotes.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexander Lott, who went 6 for 12 en route to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gaeel Zavala, who posted four points along with six rebounds.
Even though they lost, Harmony School of Innovation smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Harmony School of Innovation's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Tornillo, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Harmony School of Innovation will challenge Horizon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tornillo, they will face off against Fort Hancock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Hancock knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Tornillo likes a good challenge.
