Basketball Game Preview: Pigeon Forge Tigers vs. Knoxville Central Bobcats

The Pigeon Forge Tigers and the Knoxville Central Bobcats will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Pigeon Forge and Carter had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers claimed a resounding 68-34 win over the Green Hornets. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.

While Knoxville Central didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down Karns 55-37 on Friday. The game was the first time the Bobcats have beaten the Beavers on their court since February 10, 2020.

Knoxville Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Pigeon Forge, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
