Veritas Christian Academy wins going away against American Christian School

After losing to American Christian School the last time they met, Veritas Christian Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Veritas Christian Academy took down American Christian School 64-46 on Monday.

Veritas Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Nicholas Jetton scored 30 points along with six rebounds and three steals and Evan Milanesi scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jetton has scored all season. Another player making a difference was David Baker, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.

American Christian School's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Ritchwood, who scored 16 points. Elijah Kenyi was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Veritas Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for American Christian School, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4.

Veritas Christian Academy will take on Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday. Averaging 57.32 points so far this season, Veritas Christian Academy's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy better be ready for a challenge. As for American Christian School, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Kearny Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in American Christian School's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Kearny Christian Academy has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
