Recap: Boulder Creek Jaguars vs. O'Connor Eagles
On Friday, the Boulder Creek Jaguars faced the O'Connor Eagles in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Boulder Creek strolled past O'Connor with points to spare, taking the game 67-48. The win made it back-to-back wins for Boulder Creek.
Boulder Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Bhesania, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. Bhesania is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Brewer, who scored 17 points along with five assists.
Boulder Creek has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for O'Connor, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Pinnacle the next time they take the court. O'Connor will host Pinnacle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Boulder Creek will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
