Baseball Recap: Monadnock Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

It's playoff time, and Monadnock had no trouble coming through when it counted. They beat the Bishop Brady Giants on Saturday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted against the Giants since May 8, 2017.

Monadnock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop Brady, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 20-3 record.

As of now, neither Monadnock nor the Giants have any future games scheduled.
