Softball Recap: Boyertown Takes a Loss

Boyertown lost against Owen J. Roberts back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bears fell 5-1 to the Wildcats. Bears fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Wildcats since on Wednesday.

Boyertown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rielynn Carey, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Boyertown has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Owen J. Roberts, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Looking ahead, Boyertown will be playing at home against Neshaminy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Owen J. Roberts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
