Basketball Preview: Brindlee Mountain Lions vs. Elkmont Red Devils
The Brindlee Mountain Lions will head out to challenge the Elkmont Red Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Brindlee Mountain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Brindlee Mountain is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Brindlee Mountain blew Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering out of the water with a 52-12 final score. With the Lions ahead 31-5 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Brindlee Mountain's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooke West, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 15 points and seven assists. That's the most points West has posted since back in November of 2023. Allison Persle was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.
