Lafayette Central Catholic had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fountain Central Mustangs.

Lafayette Central Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charli Cain, who had 15 assists and four aces. Those four aces gave Cain a new career-high. Hannah Suppinger also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Lafayette Central Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Fountain Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Lafayette Central Catholic will face off against Crawfordsville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fountain Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Maconaquah at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
