While we wait for the games to resume, MaxPreps is taking a look at the most dominant basketball teams of the past decade.
Using
our database, we've compiled the list of the most successful teams from
2010-2020 and today present the most dominant Texas teams.
DeSoto owns a 2016 state title and have been ranked in the state Top 25 seven times over the past 10 years. According to MaxPreps computer rankings, DeSoto has also been ranked in the Top 25 nationally five times with a win percentage of 83 percent during that time period.
Lancaster finished in a distant second with three appearances nationally in the computer rankings and a pair of state championships. The Tigers were heavy favorites to capture their third state title of the decade before postseason play was canceled.
